Breakfasting & Roadtripping: A Marriage of Foods & Travel Styles We Love!

This year has taught us too many things; immunity is important, staying safe is of utmost importance, eating right is the true medicine, and you don’t always need to get on a plane to travel safely. How the tables have turned for us, right?

Whether it is a day-long drive, or a short 3-hour getaway, we tend to more often than not, leave at a 8-10AM time frame and most often, forget to pack a few meals. Acidity sets in, we spoil it further with coffee and kaboom, we are drained by the time we reach our destination, because we have stopped along the way to grab an unhealthy snack!

Breakfast is the most essential meal of your every day, because it is the first bite you break your all night fast with. Make sure it is a nutritious one, because that is what sets the tone for how your day will unfold. Whether it is a lavish spread, a muffin on-the-go, or your everyday cereal bowl; make variations, treat yourself, because breakfast, surprisingly is a meal that is comforting, pampering and your best bet at starting your day with a good mood!

So, it is our own responsibility, to pack a few mini-meals to kickstart our road-trips nutritiously! Whether it is a set of pre-packaged snacks or freshly made sandwiches, or even some mini spring rolls (baked, not fried), they work well for a quick breakfast in your cars! Here are some quick recipes for a snack-a-thon on your road trips:

Cereal Yogurt Jars

We all love cheesecake jars, and brownie jars, but our hearts and our stomachs eventually don’t. But you know what tastes just as good, and serves your health as well? A jar of fresh greek yogurt, layered with some fresh fruits to bite into, tossed with or topped with a crunchy handful of our Mighty Oats Cereal Mix!

A Crunchy Cheese Sandwich

A twist to the conventional cheese sandwiches: lather a good layer of cream cheese and sprinkled some Rice Power Cereal for an extra crunch!

Ziplocked Cereal Munches
